88 Years of Shahbanou Farah Pahlavi — A Global Tribute to Iran – Munich

88 Years of Shahbanou Farah Pahlavi A Global Tribute to Iran – Munich On 10 October 2026 at 3:00 PM, the Ashna Cultural Foundation Munich, in collaboration with Pahlavi Centenary, invites the public to a dignified gathering at Gärtnerplatz in Munich. On the occasion of the 88th birthday of Her Majesty Shahbanou Farah Pahlavi, Iranians and friends of Iran around the world come together to honour a woman who has devoted a significant part of her life to Iran, its culture, art, children, and the preservation of its historical heritage. This gathering is about more than honouring one remarkable woman. It is also a tribute to Iran, to the women of Iran, and especially to the mothers of Iran. Alongside the image of Shahbanou Farah Pahlavi, we remember the mothers whose lives and children are intertwined with Iran’s contemporary history. In Iranian culture, a mother is more than a family role: she represents love, life, sacrifice, strength, and the continuity of a nation. With the Iranian flag, and in a spirit of dignity, order, and unity, we gather peacefully and without division. Our purpose is to create a gathering worthy of the occasion: respectful, peaceful, and rooted in a shared cultural bond. This day is a tribute to Iran. A tribute to the women and mothers of Iran. A tribute to life, memory, and the future of Iran.
